Daily
Remove lint and thread dust from the hook area and under the needle plate. Oil the rotary hook as the manufacturer specifies. Check needles for bends or burrs and replace damaged ones. Confirm thread paths are clean and tension is consistent.
Weekly
Clean the bobbin cases and check bobbin tension. Inspect and clean thread guides and tension discs. Check frames and hoops for wear. Clean the trimmer area and confirm trimming is clean.
Monthly
Lubricate points listed in the maintenance manual. Check belts and moving parts for wear and abnormal noise. Inspect cables and connectors. Back up machine parameters and designs.
Every few months
Have a trained technician inspect timing, hook alignment and the drive system, and replace wear parts before they fail. Planned service costs far less than unplanned downtime.
Signs you need service now
Repeated thread breaks at the same point, skipped stitches, unusual noise or vibration, inconsistent trimming, or error messages that keep returning. Stop and call service before minor faults become major ones.
